Ellen Anderson

Ellen Anderson is an innovative leader in information technology with over 25 years of experience in public and private sector delivering strategic planning, direction, and development of enterprise transformation solutions.

Mrs. Anderson is an expert connecting mission objectives to business requirements and has successfully led teams delivering year-over-year growth for companies such as Sun Microsystems, IBM, SAP, and Oracle where she has held positions in sales leadership, business development, consulting and project management.

As a solution advisor and problem solver, Mrs. Anderson has addressed customer’s complex challenges, such as infrastructure modernization, supply chain modernization, and financial modernization initiatives. Clients benefit greatly from Mrs. Anderson’s expertise and collaborative style providing go-to-market strategies for new business models. With a strong foundation in sales and business development Mrs. Anderson brings extensive experience for capture strategies for high value agency programs delivering mission impact with high customer success.  She has in-depth knowledge and history of agency initiatives, knowledge of industry impact and presence, and has worked with key decision makers across the federal IT market.

Mrs. Anderson is committed to giving back to the community and has over 15 years worked with ACT-IAC; AFFIRM, and AFCEA. Her work at ACT-IAC includes many interest groups and seminars, a member of the planning committee for the Executive Leadership Conferences, over 8 years as a member of the ambassador program, design and chair of the inaugural drone seminar, a team lead for Center Stage, and working with other program teams. Mrs. Anderson has mentored small businesses entering the federal market and provided capture and advisory consulting services. Ms. Kuhn has participated in many AFCEA initiatives and supported the Cyber Security Competitions held in conjunction with the US Cyber Challenge.

Mrs. Anderson has coached and mentored graduates entering the workforce. Mrs. Anderson serves on the Board of Bangkok 1899, an international arts organization whose mission is to advance cultural diplomacy. She has also sponsored foreign exchange students at George Washington University working towards Masters in IT. Ms. Kuhn is a hot yoga enthusiast and loves art and music.

Mrs. Anderson earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in French Language, Literature, and Culture and a Minor in Industrial Design from Appalachian State University, NC.  Mrs. Anderson was a co-founder and business manager of the Mountain Times, a weekly paper covering western North Carolina. Mrs. Anderson was accepted at Atlanta School of the Arts in Design, MA, and is founder of eFoster LLC, a small woman owned business.
