He has over 14 years of public and private sector experience helping federal, state, and local government agencies, and international governments to deliver large and complex projects and programs, lead and manage multi-million dollar budgets and policy priorities, navigate complex relationships, and harness the power of advanced technologies to meet customer & mission needs. He has successfully managed & operationalized enterprise data & technology-powered systems to advance and execute business needs & interests and government programs & policy priorities.
Combiz has extensive federal government experience, serving as a national security lawyer, trusted policy advisor, & technologist for three U.S. Presidential Administrations & Cabinet Secretaries at the U.S. Department of State, Treasury, The White House & U.S. Senate. He has interfaced with senior executives and foreign leaders from 100 countries, working in close coordination with U.S. public policy & national security stakeholders to help set policies and priorities for emerging issues, and receiving commendations from Republican and Democratic leadership. He serves on multiple boards and committees including the UN-ITU, OECD AI & Blockchain Expert Advisory Board, AFCEA FedID, and the U.S. Department of Commerce Trade Finance Advisory Council.
He is the recipient of multiple awards including the 2020 Federal 100 Award, recognizing the top 100 senior executives who've made the greatest impact in government. Combiz speaks several languages including Turkish, Persian, Afghan-Dari, Tajiki, Arabic (MSA & Lebanese), Azeri, & Spanish, & aspires to become an Ambassador.
